I’m fully convinced now that the reason why so many cis people think “cis” is a slur is because that’s how they view the word “trans”, or permutations thereof
As someone who struggled a lot with my gender identity, yes. I hated being called a woman or girl growing up because it always felt like it was forced onto me due to my genitals (which is kinda was) and mixed with a hefty dose of internalized misogyny I was a cringy NLOG.
It wasn't until Iearned more about feminism and queer people that I realized I am not defined by my genitals but by me being a person. I have accepted me being a woman and embrace it now. Because I am not a woman due to my genitals. I am a woman because I am a person with that gender.
Love when they are so close to the point and yet still so far...
I genuinely thought this was pro-trans on first read. It can definitely be read that way, and it actually does make me feel better, I don't need a vagina or uterus to say I'm a woman!
Transphobes reject all the other terms besides "woman" to be applied to them, even if they are correct in a medical or academic context, they feel it's "insulting".
Unfortunately, probably not. Her handle is "vanilla.wife", she's bragging about being vanilla. It's likely that all she knows about sex and anatomy (even her own) is what her repressed mother and husband have told her.
You can see her shoulder in the upper right through the flowers a bit. I think her neck is a bit of an optical illusion with her hair. Still could be ai of course. I had to take a second look to see it the way you saw it but I see it now. It's like seeing a hyper-realistic version of Candice from Phineas and Ferb.
All of those other things are a way to describe someone AFAB without calling them a woman in order to be inclusive of anyone who isn't a woman. Generally speaking rejecting those terms is only done by terfs - especially the "i am not a cis woman" part. Cis transphobes don't want to be called cis
It took me a minute to figure out what message they were trying to convey. These people really just need to take the time to learn the terminology. They might actually learn to be more open-minded along the way.
trans people should unironically post this.
On it!

Hey everyone, come point and laugh at this loser who doesn't get the point of this sub.
Person above is a downvote farmer, upvote to ruin their fun. Then keep it at 1.
thank you for your contribution. you really added a lot to this discussion with your insightful commentary
Sometimes it's good to be bold.
i would work on getting a personality trait beyond being a cunt on the internet
Honestly it reads like a trans women’s affirmation.
I think you mean trans women Not every trans person is a woman
I'm a trans man and I'd post this out of support 🤷♂️
I'm a cis man and I'm on to it.
If anything it'll be a good way to weed out the shit from my acquaintances.
Same
the suggestion neither excludes nor forcibly includes anyone. it simply suggests trans people should unironically post this.
The "Im Not a Cis Woman" part is what sells it
Plot twist she’s just trans and embracing her identity
I’m fully convinced now that the reason why so many cis people think “cis” is a slur is because that’s how they view the word “trans”, or permutations thereof
Entirely; it's also why I double down when someone complains about it being a slur by referring to their whinging as a 'cissy fit'
...that and it's fun to rile up conservative snowflakes with triple entendre homophones.

It took me a good 10 seconds to realize this wasn’t made by a trans woman
Same. I almost accidentally liked the post.
Congrats on her for coming out

Task failed successfully?
It took me like 10 rereads to understand their point. Was very confused.
Plz explain. I still don’t understand how this is anti-trans
Transphobes reject all the other terms besides "woman" to be applied to them, even if they are correct in a medical or academic context, they feel it's "insulting".
Got it, say the words angrily not melodically.
I too am none of these things. I am, however, a woman.
So am I, sister. 😊
Wassup, siiiiissss? :)
Same lol
We are the women
"I am not a cis woman"
Oh me neither bb
Why is she mentioning both "womb" and "uterus" though? Does she know they are the same thing?
Don't expect conservatives to be literate unless they're grifters
Unfortunately, probably not. Her handle is "vanilla.wife", she's bragging about being vanilla. It's likely that all she knows about sex and anatomy (even her own) is what her repressed mother and husband have told her.
I think this is the single greatest case of an Accidental Ally I have ever seen, pack it up everyone, were done.
Trans women should post this, this is based
I did post it in my Instagram Story with my picture. Unlike her I fit all the criteria. 😊
That's an AI generated women, notice the index finger of the left hand and her ridiculous neck length.
I want this woman to be a trans woman so badly
Yeah, I'm down with this, I mean she looks like a corpse but I'm not going to judge.
That’s not even the owner of the page. She just found the image on Google and slapped it on the picture.
I don't think that's a real person, notice the super long index finger of the left hand and absurd neck length. Looks like an AI image.
Accidental AIly...?
You can see her shoulder in the upper right through the flowers a bit. I think her neck is a bit of an optical illusion with her hair. Still could be ai of course. Sounds like you are judging and attacking the way she looks like every incel I've ever met. Try again.
Scrolling through and I thought this was an ad for Dove soap or something.
And she is a Photoshop fail.
Have you seen her neck?
What happened to your gender and organs?
Trans icon tbh
"Vanilla.wife" like she's bragging about being boring lmao.
It's like a tailor-made gift to trans women! How thoughtful!
They are just SO. CLOSE. to getting it.
how is this transphobic, still not seeing it
All of those other things are a way to describe someone AFAB without calling them a woman in order to be inclusive of anyone who isn't a woman. Generally speaking rejecting those terms is only done by terfs - especially the "i am not a cis woman" part. Cis transphobes don't want to be called cis
Second this, can someone explain?
Some cis ppl think cis is a slur and being called a "uterus owner"etc somehow "cancels out" women
I think I understood some of those words but thanks for explaining
What words don't you understand ?
It took me a minute to figure out what message they were trying to convey. These people really just need to take the time to learn the terminology. They might actually learn to be more open-minded along the way.
This was made for the purpose of being transphobic? Wow
Same, I'm not most of these either.
This don’t even seem accidental this just seems like an ally
She's not. I checked her profile.
Hey! Good for her! Im glad she’s living her truth and her transition is going well for her
Vanilla wife lol
Attacking women for their appearance, ha ha, so damn funny.
That's her username, you mentally stable genius.
Oopsie 🤷
“i am not a cis woman” ok purr 💅🏼
Based
Yooo, I'm all of these too!
Is this seriously not someone coming out, am I being trolled?
Alright this is it we’ve peaked move along everyone
That’s actually beautiful aesthetic too!
I'm confused. Why would she post this if she's not trans?
"They see 'cis' as a slur because they've spent so long using 'trans' as one." - someone on here I can't remember.
Exactly the same vibes as "I'm not "straight", I'm "NORMAL"".
it’s against the ‘woke language’ now used to describe women, like saying cis women are . cis…
cis ppl hate inclusive language even when no one is forcing them to use that to describe themselves 🤷🤷
It’s so funny and yet so sad how fundamentally flawed these peoples frameworks are
Make sure Ana Kasparian sees it, pretty sure she inspired it to some degree.
I am not a portable milk jug
Hey, me too!
I am genuinely confused. Are we sure this isn't a trans woman's affirmation?
Birthing Person/chest feeder feels super rude and offensive, like referring to women as "females" but that is me personally.
Anyone else notice headlines and topics are always centered around MtF Transgender or identifying as a women and it feels quiet on the FtM side?
Beautiful photo tho…..

No, but excluding trans women from womanhood is.

Gee mister do you think you can point me in the direction of one?
If they could do you think they'd be here on this subreddit making these kinds of comments?
