Tbh it’s like my third time downloading it in the year I’ve owned the cube. I thought finally it would work, maybe there had been an update. Nope still doesn’t not load.

Yeah, I got the same, so I assume you don't have the mouse pointer in it? :)
Maybe you are connecting an external mouse to the device.
Btw, did you try RDR1 on the RG406V on GammaOS, cuz in stock os there is a visual bug that all RG406V owners had.
I cant get that game to boot past the loading screen on the rg cube. I am jealous
The RG Cube has the same specs as RG 406V. So technically it should boot on your hardware.
You may clear cache or reinstall it from Play Store again
