I was born and raised in a busy city in South Asia. I grew up in a normal middle-class family. Nothing extreme, just school, family pressure, small dreams, and big expectations.
In my mid-20s, I moved abroad for work. Life looked better from the outside, but it wasn’t easy. New country, new rules, loneliness, and starting again from zero. I made mistakes, learned lessons, and slowly built a stable life.
I’ve seen both sides living at home with family support and living alone where no one checks on you. I’m not rich or famous, just someone with real experiences.
Ask me anything. I’ll answer honestly and respectfully.
What is one thing from abroad that you wish people in your home country would do? Also, what’s your favourite food?
Would you do it again if you found somewhere better to live or a better job somewhere else?
Do you prefer life back home or in your new country? And why so?
