If you time travel and aren't pleased with how Isabel selected which trees to decorate, you can go back to the 14th, save, and restart the 15th and it will be different.

This helped mine disperse across the island much more evenly and I was so relieved.

I had a whole section leading to my house that was bare and I was so sad, so I'm happy I did it.

Someone else posted in I this sub that replanting trees doesn't work, if you replant the decorations disappear. I have not tested to confirm.
