This morning I saw a thumbnail on my feed from MS NOW about 60 minutes pulling the CECOT report last night, went to click on it and got hit with a "video unavailable in your country". I tried a few regions in and out of the US on VPN, no dice, it looks like it's down across the board. The timing here is extremely alarming.

Devils advocate: MSNOW (formerly MSNBC) just underwent a huge rebranding after separating from NBC. The likely answer is that they’re probably restructuring their entire YouTube channel and figuring out what to do with their old videos that contain the NBC logo and promotions.

I think this is it (or something similar / a glitch). I had the channel up on YouTube with an infinite load circle. I go back to it a few minutes later and the videos all popped back in.

Try pulling it up on your phone. I use roku to stream & had "no videos uploaded" when I used my normal channel. Black out. My phone will bring it up. I also scrolled through for the icon, tapped it, & found rearranged videos & then I get the "not available in this country" error.

Can’t see anything way down here in New Zealand. Disappointing as I like to catch up on the morning (our time) on US stories as that country continues to fall apart. Hope it’s back soon. Sick of the US controlling and trying to dictate everything, including what I see on YouTube.

Oh my goodness. I experienced this exact problem earlier today, but I thought it was just my computer that was acting up, because it acts up sometimes. I thought nothing of it and forgot about it and moved on. So I was surprised to see this post! I had no idea anyone else experienced this except me.

About three hours ago, I was watching this video ("Guardrails made of Jello"), and when I was done, I scrolled through the videos on the side and saw a thumbnail for a Morning Joe video about how the CECOT 60 Minutes segment was pulled. I clicked on it, but the video didn't work because it said it wasn't available in my country. I'm in the US!!! And I've watched tons and tons of MS NOW/MSNBC videos before and have had no problem.

Then I clicked on the Videos page of MS NOW's channel because I wanted to look through all the videos and find that Morning Joe one. But the thumbnails didn't appear. There was a little gray circle that was starting to rotate, but it was glitching and kept freezing and flashing. It was so weird... but then I went to a different channel and watched other vids.

Now I can see that the video page is loading, but the Morning Joe vid about CECOT isn't there. This is weird... Yes, it could be just a technical glitch, but I'm suspicious. It's a funny coincidence that that video just happened to have a glitch...

Morning Joe's 5 minute piece on CBS pulling the Cecot story is missing off of Youtube. It says "not available in your country" IN EVERY COUNTRY I TESTED (Switzerland, Albania, Japan, Mexico).

I'm in the UK and no videos are available through Youtube. However ms.now is available.

According to Perplexity - take that for what it's worth - MS NOW content, such as specific videos on YouTube, is geoblocked in the UK due to licensing restrictions set by the content owner.

Not sure how - or if - this applies elsewhere.

There's a video that's supposed to be there but is missing. It's a Morning Joe video from today that was about the CECOT 60 Minutes report. That's what OP is talking about. I too saw the thumbnail for this video earlier today, but when I clicked on it, it said it wasn't available in my country (and I'm in the US). I just looked now on MS NOW's channel and the video isn't there.

I wonder what happened to the video. Was there some kind of glitch? Will it get re-uploaded later? I'm going to check back later and see.

Thanks for the link! I didn't have the link before. I just tried it now and it says it's not available in my country, which is the same thing it said to me a few hours ago. I'm in the US and I've never had this issue with MS NOW videos. I watched another MS NOW video today too and it worked fine.
