A few days ago, someone on here posted a large P1S Stitch print. I saw it and had to make one for myself.
I added fuzzy skin and what colors I had on hand.

I’m probably going to make a few more, it’s a lot of work… once I get it solid, I’ll see if I can post the fuzzy skin models. The white parts were all done in Orca though.
Edit:
Adding Colors (Bambu PLA, Use https://filamentcolors.xyz/library/manufacturer/bambu-lab/ for cross reference where applicable)

- PLA MATTE - MARINE BLUE BL-11600 200g
- PLA MATTE - IVORY WHITE BL-11100 150g
- PLA MATTE - DARK BLUE BL-11602 025g
- PLA MATTE - SAKURA PINK BL-11201 025g
- PLA BASIC - RED BL-10200 225g
- PLA BASIC - TURQUOISE BL-10605 050g
- PLA BASIC - BLACK BL-10101 025g
- PLA BASIC - BAMBU GREEN BL-10501 025g
Yo, that's crispy. Nice job.
How long did it take?
Probably about 16 hours of my time on edits and prep
Roughly 42 hours across 3 printers
22-ish on the H2C, 12-ish on my X1C, and 8-ish on my A1 mini
I could probably do it a bit faster now but it’s easily a 30hr print, fuzzy skin adds some time and most of it is 0.1mm layers or less.
Looks great
This is a really impressive piece. Shows what creativity and 3d printing can do, giving priority to quality.

I put a lot of time into it but nowhere near the amount of effort that went into the initial model.
Designing this for people without an AMS is super neat
As an engineer, I'm in awe of artists. I could never make this model, given unlimited time.
Mind sharing the colors you used?
Working on a Bill Of Materials as we speak.
Will update once I have it
I have a few colors…

"what colors I had on hand" lol
Only 15 ams units. Can my a1m handle that?

Only 12 1/2 more to go!
Nice shiny new H2C! One day...

Dawg.... daaaaymmmm.
Description updated with color information*
That looks amazing
That looks awesome, and definitely something I'd love to do for X-Mass. I have the lady's model downloaded and filament on order. May wait for your model to decide on fuzzy/no fuzzy. Great job and my thanks :)
Bob
No prob Bob,
I updated the post with color information, I probably need a day or two before I can get the files up.
Short notes on the Fuzz, for the “fur” it’s 0.4mm nozzle (0.6mm if you have it) at 0.2mm layer height with coarser fuzz.
Note the turquoise is going in the opposite direction to the dark blue*
Orient as needed
For the red, it’s 0.1mm layer height with a tighter fuz
The white is in orca so I could use the Billows profile for fuz
I used super glue but something that foamed up or honestly even a hot glue might work
I set my support gaps to .2mm for easier removal, I’ll probably print PETG supports next time given I have a dual extruder
Lmk if you have issues and I’ll do what I can to help
DOHChead,
You're offer will definitely be used :) Love that model and the grin would put anyone in a holiday mood. Great job and hope I can get it done in time to make it a X-mass tradition :)
Bob
I didn’t make the original model, just modified the surface
The OG is in the link, Goodluck though!
I've been shocked how much an improvement fuzzy is to the surface finish, hides so many imperfections.
My X1C and A1 mini can't quite keep up with the H2C but fuzzy helps a Ton with hiding VFA and seams.
I refuse to take my X1C online, so I'm using everything extra that I can in Orca Slicer. You're locked in on the H2 and forward -_- (mostly)
The fuzzy painting brush in Orca and BS is an incredible tool
Wow; thats high fidelity- congrats
Ha! I saw that post too and now I'l waiting on the colours to be delivered. Had to get some SUNLU also as after the bf sale Bambu didn't have some colours. Love the fuzzy skin, I'm going to do that too.
