"We are forced to reply since you sent a complaint email.
We are required to act like we take the wellbeing of our employees seriously because it's our one job. If you keep telling us that you are being overworked, we will forcefully evaluate you as being unable to meet your job requirements and fire you before you give us more complaints."
What? That doesn't conflict at all with the idea that they have to respond to complaints. Without responding to complaints, they cannot get out ahead of them to protect the company.
What did you ask?
HR is not there for you. They truly are not. So if you inquired about expected workload, they then likely called your manager and spoke about whether you’d be able to keep up / might even be lining up other candidates.
Unless you have a payroll issue, need to change your last name, or have a legal issue and have consulted a lawyer first, avoid HR.
Yep HR is there for the company not you! They are giving the condescending..... Oh are you okay!? Because if not please tell us if you are going to leave because of it!!
Thats literally all they care about.... Keep your head down and leave if you don't like it because they won't change....
Yes a strange response, I actually find it hard to believe HR sent this.
They would never say ‘are you sure it’s a good fit?’ Via email, in response to you reaching out with an issue.
You would speak to your manager if there was a problem, they would resolve and if they couldn’t, involve HR for support to help you, performance manage you or terminate you legally.
If you post the whole thing I may be more inclined to believe it’s real.
Sounds to me like you’ve asked why you’re being overloaded with work and they’re suggesting you shut up or quit
That about cuts right to it. And all of the folks in here telling you it's the case are experienced. Trust it. Move on.
Let me translate that for you.

What specifically did you ask? “Let us know if this still feels like the right fit” seems like it’s in response to something specific
I’d like to see OP’s original message too

How you proceed depends on what you sent them.

Not until you get job insurance... Aka a Union
Idk if it's normal but the message is pretty clear.
Why would you talk to HR about your workload? That is a managment issue. You should be having that discussion with your manager.
I saw this posted a few days ago on other subs…
They take wellbeing seriously... But also the workload isn't going to change. How do you feel about that?
Passive HR threats... How gross and despicable
"Ownership"? Typical corporate gaslighting. Workers are not owners!!
“Let me check how many shares were given to me…”
That vest in 5 years.
At times we control…
Sounds like a tired person not caring at all to me… but I’m also curious about your initial message
Where's the other half of the email?
You want a real answer, provide the whole scenario. Don't slant it to get the answer you want to hear...

Their passive aggressive is another whole new level
This is the 4th time i see this post. I'm starting to think this is some bs
