It's been fun!
I completed all my adventure paths, it feels like a nice achievement. I got gifted a set of mithril gear, which was exciting. Met a few nice players, had some funny conversations, overall it's been a great time.
Working on quests now, following the f2p quest guide on the wiki. Next up is Vampyre Slayer!

what are adventure paths?
Tasks you get at the start of the game, you level your skills to complete them. Each time you level a skill to the designated level you can go to Adventurer Jon in Lumbridge for an item reward.

Get 99 smithing to make yourself the strongest armor in the game
Im so glad they left the paths in, and just hid it from the neck beards that would have an aneurism if they saw an unfamiliar npc in lumbridge.
Congratulations, welcome to the game! Glad the features Jagex have added to help new players have fun have been rewarding for you, a lot of us didn't have those when we started and don't pay much attention to the "new player experience" type updates so it's awesome that you've found it enjoyable 🙂

I got him! Working on the Corsair Curse now, Ithoi is a bit of a tougher foe.
Playing f2p with my son is one of the things I’m most looking forward to as he grows up.

I'm a new player, playing on PC. I saw a youtube video about a player fighting every boss in the game using only loot from the previous bosses and thought it looked cool, so I downloaded and started playing.

Don't zoom through the game too fast, trust me the magic of playing for the first time is goofing off and not knowing wtf you're doing. You're gonna look back at these days with nostalgia and laughter in a year lol.
