REMINDER: Bigotry Showcase posts are banned.

Due to an uptick in posts that invariably revolve around "look what this transphobic or racist asshole said on twitter/in reddit comments" we have enabled this reminder on every post for the time being.

Most will be removed, violators will be shot temporarily banned and called a nerd. Please report offending posts. As always, moderator discretion applies since not everything reported actually falls within that circle of awful behavior.

I am a bot, and this action was performed automatically. Please contact the moderators of this subreddit if you have any questions or concerns.

Why is this written the way AI posts?

because bots are now everywhere on reddit

Ashley_1066 is right and very insightful. The proliferation of bots on the social media website Reddit has now resulted in the aforementioned non-human accounts being discoverable all across the social media website Reddit. This results in bot accounts, which are non-human accounts, being everywhere across the social media website Reddit. This can be reflected in, across the media social website, which insightfully the user which right Ashley_1066, being, everywhere bots are, are, insightful and very, website website website website website

Don’t worry, I thought this was clever

    🔥Here’s why this works:

    — If you shove 600 mm lens up your ass, you will see the universe!

    — Shoving 600mm lens up your ass is not just reinvigorating, it’s also very stimulating!

    — Just shove it up your ass!

(Sorry, I’m a bit miffed being compared to clanker)

    parent root
    47 points Duke-Chakram

I mean I could tell you weren’t a clanker from your post history and flair, but was honestly a little worried we had lost you to the AI menace and was ready to hit you with like a “I know you’re in there somewhere” sort of thing

Because AI was trained on reddit and 4chan. And its 4chan part got sledgehammered during fine-tuning but researchers manage to make it point back in 'hilarious' experiments.

maybe the shadows we saw reflected upon the cave wall were really the mountains reflected in the eyes of trailside pikas we met along the way

    parent root
    17 points Soundwipe13

i recant actually. the shadows upon the cave wall are all the pikas we saw while without 600mm lenses. the delirious madness falls upon you once you see the mountains reflected in their eyes, just as one would percieve the True Shape of things. maybe the pure Forms were the reflected mountains all along.

    parent

Sure but how else are you going to see the mountains reflected in the eyes of a pika?

pikas are actually lagomorphs, a group consisting of two families, pikas in one and the Leporids (rabbits and hares) in the other

    Looked up 600mm camera lenses.

Was not disappointed. These things are massive.

I think that's actually on the smaller side for a good 600 Like the lens hood is definitely adding artificial girth, but look at the size of the hands

My mom has a 600mm (I think) from when she was a photographer, and they are comically large. Heavy af too, there's a lot of glass in there. I wasn't allowed to hold that lens for her lmao

    parent
    9 points mbcarney330

Not quite that long. Most 600mm lenses are around 1-1.3ft iirc. Telephoto lenses use a bunch of impressively complex elements to manipulate light to achieve a much higher focal length compared to their physical length

    parent root
    7 points jaliebs

    fascinating
