He took a bad turn (it happens) and he actually realized his mistake and is doing the right thing by pulling over to the side as much as possible and figuring out how to get out of this. Instead of just going full send and hoping everything will work itself out somehow. Like many seem to do.
So you're trying to shame this guy for doing the right thing by realizing his mistake, stopping, and finding a solution before things get way worse.
Agreed. I took that road westbound (opposite of the truck in this post) one day in a 13'6" high tractor trailer and the truck route around that bridge was a pain in the butt... But my truck and trailer didn't hit a bridge.
Let's hope he stopped to consult a map to figure out another way...
